We have a selection of full 11+ English papers in our online testing area. Use these tests to familiarise yourself with the style of 11+ English papers.
Now you know what to expect it's a case of improving your overall English skills. There are many ways to do this but unfortunately there is no quick fix. Try to read as much as you can. Never force reading for the sake of it. Always make sure that the subject matter is of interest to the reader.
Play word games. Scrabble, articulate, popword are all great ways to improve language skills. Make it a family thing and be sure to explain any words which are not fully understood. You may also want to try our 11 plus playing cards which can be used to play many different word games.
