For those of you who haven't yet heard about mosquito ring tones
let me explain...
As people get older they lose the ability to hear high frequency (high pitched)
sounds.
This phenomonen was originally used against youngsters. In order to stop kids hanging
around outside shops at night the shop owners installed alarm systems that emitted
very high frequency sounds - the idea being that it would irritate the kids enough
to make
them leave but be unnoticed by adults.
Then some clever person realised that if you use these high pitched sounds as ringtones,
kids can hear their phones ringing and adults can't.

Oldies might
be able to hear the 15 kHz tones but struggle to hear the higher ones. Download
